3 Solubility practically insoluble in water and in ethanol (96 percent). It dissolves with effervescence in mineral acids.
4 Appearance of solution The Solution S is not more opalescent than reference suspension II and is colourless.
5 Chlorides Maximum 500 ppm.
6 Nitrates Maximum 0.4 percent.
7 Alkali and alkaline-earth metals Maximum1.0 percent.
8 Loss on drying Maximum 1.0 percent,
9 Assay 80.0 percent to 82.5 percent of Bi (Ar 209.0) (dried substance).

PACKAGING

MOLBIS® CARB is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
